Duchamp & Sons present…The Light and Shadow Salon (2017)

I was a member of the Whitechapel Art Gallery’s youth forum Duchamp & Sons from 2016-2021.

In 2016-2017 we collaborated with film maker and artist Chiara Ambrosio for 8 months to create numerous exhibitions. One being our very own ‘Light and Shadow Salon’ project and event. The theme of our salon was ‘Freedom/Control’ and we curated a space where screenings, performances and discussions were had related to the theme. I was honoured to be one of the performers, where I performed a spoken word entitled ‘The Imbalanced Forces’ (read below).
